Debating the Future of the European Union has been the topic of our Together event in Rome. Quite appropriate, as the discussion took place just one day before the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome.
Over 400 people joined us in the Auditorium della Conciliazione in Rome, and more than 7,000 joined the debate online, via webstreaming and Facebook live. We thank you!
Taking on board opinions from specialists, from progressive MEPs and from people around Europe, via this platform, we were able to come up with a comprehensive Statement on the Future of Europe, focusing on four strong pillars: sustainable prosperity, democracy, protection of fundamental rights and international cooperation.
Here you can find the full text of the Statement adopted in Rome.
